Privacy Policy

AlwaysMap ("we"), operated by AlwaysMap, lets you design a personal map and order it as printed wall art. This policy describes what we collect and why. Short version: we keep almost nothing about you.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a password. The password is stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider (Supabase) — we never see or store it in plain text. Your email is used to sign you in and to send order updates.
- Your maps: the places, names, and dates you enter into a map you create. They are private to your account unless you explicitly publish a map.
- Orders and payment: payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details and shipping address are collected and held by Stripe and shared with our print partner solely to produce and deliver your order. We do not store your card number or your shipping address on our servers.
- Analytics: we use PostHog in a cookieless configuration to understand how the product is used (pages viewed, features used). No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking, no analytics cookies.
- Operational logs: standard server logs and error reports (Sentry), retained briefly to keep the service working.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your data. We don't show ads. We don't share your information with anyone except the processors named above (Stripe for payment, our print partner for fulfillment, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for hosting our database).
Your choices
- Delete your maps at any time from your account.
- To delete your account and associated data entirely, email support@alwaysmap.com from your account address — we complete deletion requests within 30 days.
- Published maps can be unpublished at any time; the public page then shows only a "this map is private" notice.
